Company Background

In 2009, after completing Makerere university equipped with business knowledge from the Commerce class, Mugejjera Sulaiman Ibrah started the business as a small service centre for graphics and printing which later registered as an incorporated company in the names of Screen Graphics Ltd on 22nd December 2009.

In 2010 we opened up the office for official business in our current location at Kibuli - Corner House where we have been able to establish the brand to spread out to so many parts of Uganda and East Africa dealing in graphics design, signage, branding, and printing up to date.

Services the Company Offers.

GRAPHICS DESIGNING

We create visual concepts using computer software or by hand to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. We develop overall concepts, layouts, and production designs for applications such as logos, posters, reports, magazines, and signs.

PLOTTING / VINYL CUTTING

The automated process of cutting self-adhesive vinyl using a cutter machine. The vinyl can either be a roll of stock color or printed with a design. We create vinyl images, ranging from car decals to monogrammed designs, for both commercial and individual markets.

COLOUR DIGITAL PRINTING

This process involves mapping out an image onto a chosen surface using minute droplets of ink to transfer images onto a variety of media surfaces, such as paper, shirts, canvas banners, cloth fabrics, card stock, polyester, wool, acrylic plastic, and wood.

METAL FABRICATION

We use metal to create products and structures through welding, cutting, bending, forming, punching, shearing, stamping, and assembling. It is a value-added process involving creation based on engineering drawings.

LASER CUTTING

The non-contact technology uses a laser to vaporize materials, resulting in a high-quality, dimensionally accurate cut edge. The process works by directing the laser beam through a nozzle onto materials such as wood, acrylic, metal, and fabrics.

ENGRAVING

This is a physical process of carving a design onto a hard, usually flat surface by cutting grooves into it with an etching medium. The surfaces for engraving include wood, stone, cardboard, aluminum, stainless steel, plastic, marble, ceramics, and glass.

SCREEN PRINTING

This is a printing technique that uses a framed mesh to transfer ink or dye onto a surface to create a printed design. This technique is used in custom clothing, canvases, artwork, posters, paper, cardboard, and wood by spot color, halftone, grayscale, or full color.

LAMINATING

This is the process of manufacturing a material in multiple layers so that the composite material achieves improved strength, stability, sound insulation, and appearance using differing materials, from plastic to polyethylene films.

SCANNING

The process of translating photographs into a digital form that can be recognized by a computer. It is a computer input device that uses a light beam to recognize codes, text, or graphic images directly into a computer.

PHOTOCOPYING

The light-induced conductivity that makes an image visible and transfers it to another sheet of paper using special charged toner. Photocopiers essentially take an image or text from the original master sheet and duplicate it as many times as needed.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

This is the process of providing insight to customers on the scope of their project in line with their budget, timeline, and style. During this process, the client gains knowledge about materials to use, colors, and processes.

DESIGN RESEARCH

This is a blueprint for the science of study and improvement in products. It helps identify and address problems that may arise during the production process. Research allows users to correct mistakes and create better and more useful experiences.

INSTALLATION

We have our own experienced team that cares about the finished product. All products are manufactured in-house and carefully inspected before being delivered to the client. Our expert team installs signs with specialized equipment to ensure safety and durability.

PAINTING & SPRAYING

We use decorative protective enamel spray paint on our work to enhance your project and create the desired look as per the artistic drawings. Sign painting is a craft of painting lettered signs on buildings, billboards, or signboards for communication.

CONSTRUCTION

We use sand, cement, concrete, and bricks to assemble and erect structures used as signage bases or platforms. The civil work provides our projects with a strong and aesthetic finish that complements the artistic drawings.

SAND BLASTING

This is the process of smoothing and cleaning hard metal surfaces by forcing solid abrasive particles across the surface at high speeds using compressed air. It helps smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, or remove surface contaminants.
